Before RH made this easy with their authconfig utility, I wrote a short doc that explains how to set this up manually. http://www.pobox.com/~agreene/linux/PDC-Authentication-HOWTO.html Besides giving the steps and some examples, it describes some of the issues. You're probably running into an issue about "required" and "sufficient" checks in the "auth" section of /etc/pam.d/ssh. Tony - -- Anthony E.
