Edit /etc/lilo.confI searched many sites and mailing lists (of source zillions of Altavista and Google links) but found no table with the vga modes. By trial and error I found 800x600x16 and 1024x748x16, after getting a message on a newsgroup that had he 1280x1024x16 setting. I wish 800x600x23 and 1024x748x24.

Question: there are 32-bit depth standard VESA modes I can set for the kernel?
