Hello! Could someone help me to understand RH AS subsciption licensing?
As I understanded from here http://www.redhat.com/software/whichlinux.html RH AS 2.1 is completely covered by GPL. There are srpms of distribution and updates on ftp.redhat.com (great!). But if I'll buy one box with CDs can I install it on several servers? And if I'll buy subscription for one server this mean that I can't install updates (in binary form, rpms provided by RH) to more than one server? Or I can install rpms to several servers, but I can call support only if I have problems with updates on one of these servers? I ask this question just because I just asked Suse the same question about SLES8. Suse says that they sell service, not software ;-) , but, just because sources of SLES8 and sources of updates don't available for free I can't agree.
