Gordon, *heh* I think you are right - I have been using the 2.4.19 kernel w/ 7.3 since it was released. I compiled with gcc-2.96 w/ rh73, and I don't think that I changed it when I upgraded to 8.0. So sorry, and I will try a gcc 3.2 kernel out, and see. js -- VB programmers ask why no one takes them seriously, it's somewhat akin to a McDonalds manager asking employees why they don't take their 'career' seriously.
