It doesn't matter.  Mixing a kernel built with gcc 3.2 with binary
modules built with other compilers is known to cause problems.  Whether
you build your own, or run Red Hat's, you run the risk of the problems
occurring.

That's about how intermittent problems go, isn't it?  They affect some
users, some of the time.  Just because it "works for you" doesn't make
it safe, or a good idea.

Last I heard, the binary module in NVidia's driver was not compiled with
gcc 3.2, so it would be a mistake to claim that you use that driver
compiled with gcc 3.2
