Okay, I had these before. I have them now. I've tried to 'make clean' 'make' on the nvidia kernel but it tells me the compilers are differnet. versions 2 + 3. I'm not to technical guys... can anyone give me some step by steps as if talking to a small child ;-) Sorry to be dim, I just don't 'get' much of what you guys are saying. I tried editing the xf86config-4 file to use the 'nv' driver but it hasn't helped....
