For example: I have a group name is ituser, use command " chgrp ituser /home" i can change home's group owner to ituser. It's right in redhat7.2 and use it in redhat8.0 have error message " chgrp invalid group name ' ituser'" .In fact , i have group name is ituser and view group file can find it .So i think when update redhat from 7.2 to 8.0, group files can not update to 8.0 format. But i didn't how to do it and can use chgrp command in redhat8.0. Thank you fro reply.
