Or remove > the vim-enhanced package and keep only the vim-common and vim-minimal > packages. > > Cheers, Thanks I removed the vim-enhanced package it still has a weird twist if you type vi instead of /bin/vi it gives you the error /usr/bin/vim No such file I just added an alias to my .bashrc for now but does anyone know where it is telling the system to look for /usr/bin/vim instead of /bin/vi when you type vi ?
