You and me both!!! Except I don't have the originals. > the command I am running to calculate the md5sum is : > > dd if=/dev/cdrom bs=2048 count=329956 | md5sum I used to run md5sum directly against the .iso files BEFORE burning I just copied the iso files and the MD5SUM text file to a directory and ran MD5SUM. This always worked for me pre-RedHat 7.3, but for some reason my 7.3 disks I downloaded NEVER matched the MD5SUM. I gave up at the end. Downloading the same disk 3 times over a 56K modem from different mirrors gets very tiresome if the md5sum just refuses to match. I'm trying again with 8.0. Can someone please verify what I'm doing is correct though? I SHOULD just be able to copy the ISOs to a folder with the MD5SUM file and simply run 'md5sum' right?
