I have decided to attempt to upgrade my current system from 7.2 to 8.0
by using a second hard drive as the repository (and mount point) for my
ISO images (which I'm downloading now (I launched Opera with root
privileges so that I can save to a hidden directory on / )).

I have only one question, after reading over the instructions on the RH
web site ( http://www.redhat.com/download/howto_download.html#write )
I'm curious as to if I have to make a boot disk and reboot they system.
If not, does the installer start right up after I mount it using the
commands given ( mount -o loop -t iso9660 <isofilename> <mountpoint>) or
do I have to execute a file from within after mounting the ISO file?

TIA
