There is a section on making boot disks.

*kicks his computer* Okay. I made the boot disk, it boots up. Asks where to install from. I tell it harddrive and point it to where the iso files are (hdb5). It says it can't find the iso images. What am I doing wrong (or not doing)?

(NOTE: this would be more appropriate for the redhat-install list.)
Sorry, just figured I could ask here since I'm already using 7.2.

if you're doing a graphical install, try switching back to one of the first few virtual consoles to see if perhaps there's some sort
of diagnostic message being printed.
I'll check next time I try, atm I just wanna delete the files and give up, especially now since I'm having a host of other problems with my box. :-(

p.s. are the ISO images in the root directory of that partition?
or in a subdirectory?

They are not in any folders on hdb5, although I have it mounted to /linux as far as the file system is concerned.
