First, there's consolehelper - see the man page. Next, do you want them to be able to do it *while* they're already logged in, or just to be able to walk up and reboot it. For the latter, the trivial answer is, of course, <ctrl><alt><del>, while if it's not the actual console, then I normally create a user (if there's not one already there, created in the RH install) name shutdown or reboot, and instead of a shell, they have /usr/bin/shutdown, or /usr/bin/reboot, so that just by logging in, that command is run. ******************* And on another note... > I am programming a script and it arises me a problem, I need that the > script throws a combination of keys, alt+F1, and I don't remember like > one makes.
