Try this, it worked for me...

The easiest fix I've found is to put these 2 lines at the _BOTTOM_ of
your ~/.bashrc:

LANG=c
export LANG

These lines have to go after the global functions that are called in
.bashrc because that's where Red Hat sets LANG by default.
