Probobly has to do with your video drivers. You might want to look at the web site for your video card and see if they have Linux drivers. The Game requires OpenGL. GLX is the OpenGL for X driver. If you have a Geforce or an older TNT card, you can go to www.nvidia.com and get the driver for Linux there.
