Subject: Serial port to Cisco console port connection

Ok, I know there must be a simple answer to this, but I just can't find
it.

I'm trying to connect to the console port on a Cisco PIX via the serial
port on a Linux box. Most of the documentation I've found has to do
with
connecting to the serial port from Windows or a dumb terminal. What I
need
is something like Windows Hyperterminal that has a "direct to serial
port"
option but I just can't seem to find one. Ideally I'd like something
that
can be run from the CLI, but a GUI client is ok at the moment as well.
Can
anyone buy me a clue?

Thanks!

-Eric
