Have a look at minicom which comes on the RH CD's, or C-Kermit which doesn't. There are others but I've not tried them. One gotcha that you may fall foul of is the permissions on /dec/ttyS0 (asuming you're using COM1). Access to the file/device works exactly the same as acces to any other file in Linux. > > > Eric Sisler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Applications Specialist > Westminster Public Library > Westminster, CO USA > > Linux - Don't fear the Penguin. > Want to know what we use Linux for? > Visit http://gromit.westminster.lib.co.us/linux -- Gary Stainburn This email does not contain private or confidential material as it may be snooped on by interested government parties for unknown and undisclosed purposes - Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, 2000 -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
