I saw the text/plain MIME Content-Type using wget and I observed the exact
same behavior in Galeon, Mozilla, Netscape, Konqueror, links, and lynx.
Each browser attempted to display the template data file within the
browser window. That is to be expected since the server said that the data
was text. working in a remote X session, the attempt to display the data
as text would consistently crash my X server. The data should be marked
with the correct MIME type to ensure proper handling at the client. That's
what MIME types are for.

It's a *server* misconfiguration.

The shift+left-click does get the data, but it uses the wrong filename.
Honestly, I did not try that method because I assumed it did the same
thing as right-click, then Download Link. Linux users can download the
data then rename the file, but it's still a workaround.

Fixing the MIME configuration on the web server is the real solution.
