-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The OO Extras site <http://www.ooextras.org/> has templates for use with OpenOffice. Currently, it's a little complicated to download them using a Linux-based browser.
The problem is that the web server is configured to tell the browser that the template is plain text, when it's actually a zipped XML file. I have already sent a detailed bug report to the site owners. Until it gets fixed, here's how you can get the templates using Mozilla, Galeon, Konqueror, or Opera: - Browse the site to find the template you want. - Right-click on the "Download this file Now!" link and select "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Link Address" or similar (depending on your browser). - In an xterm type "wget", a space, a quote mark ('), then press [Shift-Insert] to paste in the URL. Type in another quote mark, and press [Enter]. The resulting command line should look something like this: wget 'http://some.complicated.url' Read the wget output to see the filename of the template. Or you could just wait until the site owners fix it so that us Linux users don't have to jump through these kinds of hoops to get the templates. Tony - -- Anthony E.
