I have changed a sound card, installed a creative sb live, on my home
computer running win2000 and redhat7. As I at the same time changed
windowsME to w2k I lost the lilo boot option. So redhat has to be booted
with a boot diskette.

When I ran redhat first time with the new sound card, rh loaded normal
until prompt "loading sound module via82cxxx" with the cursor blinking.
But from here no more happens. The system stops here, so I can not log
in. The system does not freeze, as the cursor is all the time blinking.

From the boot diskette I have an option of different boot methods, by
typing "linux <params> What paramerter can I here use for loading rh to
skip the sound module, log in , run sndconfig and fix the problem?
