Hello, Sonia.

I'm afraid my French is a bit rusty, but if I understand, correctly, you
are able to initiate ssh sessions, from the local machine, to itself, but
you can not initiate ssh sessions from remote systems to the local system.
Is this correct?

If so, you probably need to open up port 22 in your firewall
configuration.

To see if it is your firewall configuration, you'll need to stop your
firewall, temporarily..."/etc/init.d/ipchains stop"

If this allows remote connections, via ssh, to your server, then you'll
need to just modify your ipchains script, and then "/etc/init.d/ipchains
start" and you should be fine.
