I'd say that the "You probably have a hardware problem with your RAM 
chips" is probably a good indicator of where to look.

Assuming you have multiple memory modules, I'd remove one at a time, run 
the system for a while, see if you get the same errors with the remaining 
module(s) and repeat the process.
