more specifically, i'd like to find a ready-to-go
official version of ksh93 that will run under the second
limbo beta, with the following provisos:

1) no, i don't want to use pdksh. while pdksh looks very
much like ksh, it doesn't have exactly the same behavior,
and i'd really prefer an official ksh93.

2) i downloaded the latest version of ksh93 for linux from
www.research.att.com/sw, and the newer version that's
available there has an annoying bug in that it drops the
last character from the definition of each alias when
   you list the alias definitions.

there is also a ksh at www.rpmfind.net, but it uses openpkg
packaging, and there are other dependencies.

not that long ago, i had a working ksh, it ran fine and
it ran standalone on red hat. sadly, i didn't keep it around,
and now the current version doesn't work properly.

does anyone have a standalone executable that will work?
