MySQL support for PHP

Hi,   I installed PHP and PostgreSQL when I installed RedHat 7.2,  I would now like to use MySQL with PHP.  Does anyone know how I go about doing this.  I have already installed MySQL and it is working fine.   But I can't figure out how to enable MySQL support in PHP.   thanks, Joel
