You will need both sendmail and fetchmail at Office2. The server at
Office2 will need a modem to dial Office1. Get a good external modem. It
will cost a little more, but it will make everyone's life simpler.

If you use a dialup Internet connection, look into Masqdialer or other
tools that will allow Linux to do dial-on-demand from Windows clients. If
you use an always-on Internet connection, you should probably use a
separate box for the connection (Linux/BSD or a dedicated router) and run
firewall and NAT on it.
