        I use a (dual) Netscreen 5 (http://www.netscreen.com/) - one 
in front of my servers, and the other in front of my cable modem 
connection at my home office LAN. The VPN that Netscreen creates is 
real nice! Also, I like that it creates IPSec, instead of just using 
NAT or only passing along IPSec.

        There are deals on eBay for older Netscreens (pre-Netscreen 5 
XP versions) that run nearly current software.

        FWIW, "best" is highly relative. There is no "best" firewall 
- only what's "best" for you. YMMV   ;-)
