Xircom XE5600 With RedHat Linux v7.2

I have a Dell inspirion 7000 laptop with a Xircom multifunction card XE5600.  I allowed the OS to autodetect during install and the card apparently was not recognized.  I've tried to manually configure it but no Xircom cards are listed.  Can anyone point me in the right direction.  Xircom is no help as they live in the Windows world exclusively.

Did I miss an RPM?

cardctl ident lists the card correctly
If i understand, this merely means the PCMCIA adapter is loaded correctly NOT the Card itself.  (Just reading ident from card PROM).

Google search listed several others with simillar problems but no resolutions have been posted.
