    As Greg pointed out, editing the .mc file is A LOT easier to maintain when 
upgrading sendmail releases.  And let's not forget that with each release, if 
something in the configuration changed, you'd have to re-generate your .cf 
anyway...FROM your .mc file.  So, if you make it a habit of maintaining your .mc file, 
you can easily upgrade from version to version, or even across multiple machines 
(which is what I generally do - setup one machine, generate the .cf file the way I 
need it, then copy that .mc file to the others.  A lot easier, trust me).
