I was just wonder what must be a minimun checked when compilin the kernel. I have checked for the processor type, enable networking, the nic cards realtech 8139. No sound cards but enabling bridge and tcp/ip. Anybody having the /usr/src/linux/.config file after recompiling the kernel, please email it to me. My system boots only half the way, any I really don't know on what check box it stops.
