Hi all,

For reasons I won't bore you with, I temporarily have a different (less
capable) monitor on my RH7.2 system. Foolishly, I swapped the monitor
without checking it still worked, and now I can't get a raster because the
temporary monitor can't handle the refresh frequency. (Running as a server,
my Linux box is so reliable I rarely turn the monitor on.)

I can telnet in from another machine on my lan if I need to.

How can I either:-
a) "key combo" through valid screen resolutions till I find one that works, or
b) change an (XF86 ?) config file via a telnet login to restart KDE with a
lower screen refresh , so I can get my graphics back

Thanks in advance.

julian.
