I think you can stop waiting, it's not going to boot. ;) Is this kernel for Red Hat 7.2? You mentioned the 2.4.7-10 kernel in your post, which was the kernel in the initial release of 7.2. First, why the old kernel? There have been several updates, the current kernel being 2.4.9-31. Are you using ext3 partitions? Did you enable ext3 support in the kernel? If it is enabled as a module, did you create an initrd.img? - -D - -- pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/pgpkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.2 in 8M of RAM: http://www.freesoftware.fsf.org/rule/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8uPAGeMAUbzJhSVcRAlYXAJ0Vc4RAAzhAuCMO4FNBRKDFqd04AwCeOIpe VdhC+aqmmRJIie8qRgpoetw= =x0Eo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
