I've been running my own apt repository for a couple of weeks now, and using apt on all of my Red Hat Linux systems (and my friends' RHL systems, and mother's RHL systems, and my girlfriend's mother's system...). I was awestruck the first time I used it. apt is the only thing that ever really tempted me to switch from RHL to Debian GNU/Linux.
