If you want Evolution, IMO, you'll be better off with Ximian's gnome > 2. If so, should I simply install Enigma with only KDE, then get the Ximian > stuff? Install only the KDE libraries so you can run KDE applications, but then run the Ximian installer to pick up everything else. > 3. Will Ximian Red Carpet play nice with RPM? Red Carpet is RPM based. What gets annoying is up2date - RC and up2date piss each other off and want to stomp all over each other. I've got a script that finds all Ximian packages on your system and then updates your RHN config to exclude those packages from being updated. It means you get a big exclude list but it does allow you to cleanly pick up those Red Hat released security updates on a timely basis. Holler if you want the script. > 4. What do I need to do to get Evolution to import my Eudora files? Can't rememember, but you should go to the Evolution mailing list and ask there. A relatively busy list (comparable to this one) but quite valuable. Go to http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo and you can browse the Evo archives. Alternatively, a quick Google search for "evolution eudora import" will give you some hits...
