Hello Jack,

Is the mail returned to the sender ? Did you check that the mailman app is
in the sendmail "allow to mail to program list" ?

I check the docs and on RH7.0 had the problem that sendmail was looking for
it in /usr/<something> and on RH's build it was /var/<something> (or the
other way around) If the mail is returned, check the report, otherwise have
a look in /var/log/mailog and let us know what you find.....

Cheers,

Pieter

anyone have any experience setting up and administering mailman?
i have it setup and it's running and sending out email but anytime an email
comes in,
like a request subscription confirmation (or anything for that matter)
nothing is done with it. i can't find the
incoming mail, nothing is being done with the incoming mail and i can't seem
to find a log of where it has gone,
or any errors.
i connected via dsl, using Red Hat 7.2, have a domain (and a static IP) and
just can't figure this puppy out.
can anyone offer any help? i've read the how-to's and the readme's but to no
avail.
thank you so much.
jack
