I hate this 'rpm mystery meat' crap. I configured without a path to mysql and it found the library it needed. I still don't know where that is. Now it can't find the snmp.h file. Of course, ucd-snmp was part of the default install, which of course uses rpm.
WTF? What's with all of this non-standard CRAP? Why can't Redhat just put things where EVERYONE else in the Linux world expects to find them? It sure would make it easier to get something useful up and running, or to debug in cases like this. Anyone know where snmp.h is? I still haven't found the mysql header files either. I'm not including a path for snmp, so I figured all should be well :) It's not. Way to be predictable.
