Haven't tried qmail yet, but my sendmail experience overall has been very good. Had a bitch of a time getting started with sendmail due to piss-poor (or nonexistent) docs. Finally found the .mc file, smooth sailing ever since. Had sendmail running non-stop for the last six months and it's my favorite type of program: It Just Works. Also had a bitch of a time setting up SMTP AUTH (same reasons), but the problem turned out to be PAM not sendmail. Again, once it worked, it just kept on working. -- Rodolfo J.
