I tried on an old P150 several times. My CD drive was an ancient SCSI
drive attached to an AHA-1510. It work(ed)(s) with RH just fine, but
Debian (2 different releases) failed to recognize it, passing the same
parameters that worked fine with several RH releases. Then I tried on a
later model machine, same SCSI card. Still didn't like it. I tried a few
months back with Potato and a different machine and different SCSI card.
I didn't even need to get it to accept the SCSI because I now have an
ATAPI drive. It failed to find the drive and failed 3 different NICs on
two different arrangments (2 spearate attempts at installing) as well.
But it found the SCSI board just fine.

I gave up and won't likely try it again.
