I've found some do, some don't.  IIRC, since they (RH rpms) don't put
things in exactly the same place a SuSE RPM would, the apps don't show up
on the menus in KDE, etc.

Yes.  SuSE is the master when it comes to useful documentation included w/
the boxed set.  If Red Hat were to adopt *one* thing from SuSE, it should
be to take a hard look at the SuSE manuals and online help system and
implement something similar or better.

Hmmm...  I have by and large had the opposite experience.  SuSE is
smoother for me, so long as you stick w/ the stuff from the disks.  Red
Hat may be a bit easier to deal w/ when it comes to getting stuff off the
Web and putting it on your system.
