Note also that the sys admin can make a central Netscape resources file
in the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults which contains this
setting, saving the hassle of every user needs to have their own.

Also, for testing purposes, note that netscape takes a -ncols argument
for the same purpose. So while you're figuring out how many colours to
restrict it to you can say:

        netscape -ncols 128

and so forth.
