I have a problem with nfs on one of my machines. It seems to be
partially working cause I can do local nfs mounts, e.g "mount -t nfs
localhost:/path /path" works. If I try the same mount from a machine on
the network though it just eventually times out, the same thing happens
if try the mount on the nfs server but replace localhost with the ip or
hostname of my nic.

I get the same result when doing rpcinfo -p, it works perfectly when
doing it on the nfs-server using no argument or localhost. But when I do
it on another machine on the network, or use the ip or hostname of the
nic on the nfs-server, it times out.

So to me it seems like the nfs-server is listening on the wrong
interface or something, anybody know why that is and how I can rectify
it?

My machine is has Redhat 7.0 kernel 2.4.14 with the latest nfs-utils, it
heavily updated with regards to other stuff as well.

regards
Andreas
