See these messages for info. https://listman.redhat.com/pipermail/enigma-list/2001-December/005222.html https://listman.redhat.com/pipermail/enigma-list/2001-December/005503.html https://listman.redhat.com/pipermail/enigma-list/2001-December/006117.html Basically, disable the raid controller in the BIOS. That should allow you to boot and install. You _may_ then be able to use highpoints drivers. According to their page, they are for RH 7.1. It appears there is a modified kernel included. What ever changes have been made to it are not open source. Red Hat won't be able to support it of course. In my case, I returned the motherboard, and got an Asus A7V266-E No raid, but it does work like a champ. ;) Hope my prior research in the above posts helps, - -D - -- pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/pgpkey.txt - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8Nm+WeMAUbzJhSVcRAiPvAKCSW5pBAd/jmmSosFoa8zOjNIjo4ACgtZNk Yk+i9AXkFXVeG/BWmqr6NLI= =81JH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
