I am trying to get Xwindows working on my installation of RH 7.2 on my thinkpad. It seems to otherwise be running ok but can't seem to get the Xwindows display setup right.
Can someone point me in the right dirrection? Thanks! I am hoping to use this as a display for a web project I hope to get... I can tell I really need to upgrade to a better laptop but if I can get gnome or kde up and running I will be happy... Doesn't seem to like the "generic Laptop 640x480" screen setup nor the "Trident (Cyber 9320)" settings. Says it can not find the card and drops out.... Works fine with this driver under win95... The text mode also works fine... When I try testing the xwindows server I get a black screen. Thanks!
