Hi, I have installed Redhat7.2 in one computer, and x-win32 in other machine runing MS Windows2000. But I can not access the linux via XDMCP. I have modified the following files:
Xaccess: uncomment * #any host can get a login window. xdm-config: comment ! DisplayManager.requestPort: 0 inittab: x:5:respawn:/etc/X11/prefdm changed to x:5:respawn:/usr/X11R6/bin/xdm -nodaemon Then I run the command "ps auwx | grep xdm" and the result is root 1436 0.0 0.4 3292 1096 ? S 12:23 0:00 /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm -nodaemon root 1440 0.0 1.3 10444 3568 ? S 12:23 0:01 /etc/X11/X -auth /etc/X11/xdm/authdir/authfiles/A:0-ZsYTSQ dygao 16337 0.0 0.2 1728 584 pts/1 R 16:23 0:00 grep xdm And I run the command "netstat -a" and there are the entry: udp 0 0 *:xdmcp *:* But I still can not use X-WIN32 or EXTRA!X to access liunx via XDMCP. Who can help me?
