I have a question for people using multiple Unix systems at work. I am looking for a "centralized" password server for the Unix and maybe even incorporating Windows machine using samba. What have most people setup in there working environment that works best.
I would like to just managed one server that i could at a user: then that user will be propagated through out the other machine somehow. I have never worked at a place that actually did that, but would like to give it a shot. NIS+ ? OpenLDAP ? ?
