Hello,
This might be a insignificant problem, but I noticed when I play mp3 files
using xmms from local hard drive fat32 partition, it's kinda slugish, and
there are small distortions here and there during the music playing.
First I thought it was the files, but when I copied the files to other
windows machine in the network, and then I do samba mount, and play the
same files from that samba-mounted directory, they play really well, not
slugish, and the distortions were almost none. Anyone experience something
like this?
FYI, my sistem is Redhat 6.2, on 4 GB hard drive. But the music files are
in the second HD, 20 GB fat32 partition (I have dual boot system).
Any comment/suggestion will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
