The way I see it you have to choices: Either you disable logging because apparently
your not reading them anyway or you have a look in /etc/logrotate.conf and try to see
why it doesn't rotate anymore.<br>

I advice you to stop syslogd, either copy the "message" file manually to any
place you want to keep it and zero the original (> message) after which you should
run logrotate manually<br>
<br>
<x-tab> </x-tab>logrotate
/etc/logrotate.conf<br>
<br>
to see if it gives you errors. Don't try to experiment with the 270Mb file in place
because you're probably going to freeze your machine.<br>
