I am trying to get VNC Server setup to run under 7.1 RH.
I tried the setup they mention on the AT&T site of using the startkde script
to use the KDE desktop. I replaced the two line command that actually run
the
Xwindows stuff with the script they mention. The Xwindows screen still works
fine but the KDE kicks out saying the Welcome screen errored out or some
such thing.
What changes do I need to make to the setup file to allow me to run either
KDE or GNOME under VNC Server?
I plan to put my Linux machine out of immediate reach and use VNC from my
Win ME machine to access it for general setup or maintenance stuff.
I downloaded red hat off one of the mirrors and have had it running a few
days now. Seems to be the most rock solid 7.x RH to date so far. ;)
