I figured out that I probably fragmented the initial ramdisk on the floppy
when I overwrote the original. I solved this problem by deleting all files but
vmlinuz from the bootnet disk, and adding all other files afterwards
(initrd.img first, so it doesn't get fragmented). Now the disk works fine (see
my next post :).
