Sorry, I don't get it.

If I put my windows HD as master, an linux HD as slave, my LILO will never 
be loaded, right? Because the MBR in my Windows HD will be loaded first 
(which contains windows of course).

So, this still have not anwered my question, do I need to put the LILO in a 
floopy, then boot from floopy (to load LILO) all the time?
