When trying to start up2date as root in an xterm, I get this answer:

################################################################
]# up2date
Traceback (innermost last):
  File "/usr/sbin/up2date", line 11, in ?
    import urllib, string
  File "/usr/lib/python1.5/urllib.py", line 25, in ?
    import socket
ImportError: /usr/lib/python1.5/lib-dynload/socketmodule.so: undefined
symbol: SSL_library_init
]#
################################################################
What does this mean: broken file ?

I have RedHat 6.1 on the machine - no python-stuff for 7.0 but only
for 6.1 or 6.2 (AFAICS)

Thanks in advance.
Regards.
Wolfgang
