Im currentely using rh6.2 with kernel 2.2.17 and now preparing for the second time to compile 2.4.2, the problem is looking at the /Documentation/Changes seems there is a lot of WARNINGS! in regards to upgrading util-linux 2.10o from the current util-linux-2.10f of which it tells me is required...has anyone successfully upgraded from util-linux 2.10f to 2.10o ??? ...it seems quite tricky to do,..and I don't have the experience or can afford to render my machine useless any help on how to do this would be apprecitated,..and also,..is it REALLY necessary to upgrade this ?? thanks in advance ____________________________________________ An optimist believes we live in the best of all possible worlds.
